Our Collabs

We believe in empowering those who defy limits. That is why we align ourselves with high-impact organizations and individuals tackling the world's most urgent challenges, ranging from environmental protection to global safety. Explore our past and present collaborations below.

Sea Shepherd

Since 2020, TRIWA has partnered with Sea Shepherd to support their direct-action missions against illegal fishing and marine habitat destruction. Through the "Time for Oceans" initiative, TRIWA creates watches made from recycled ocean plastic, with 22% of the sales donated directly to Sea Shepherd’s global fleet.

These funds totaling over €60,000 thus far help keep ships at sea to protect marine wildlife and remove dangerous ghost nets. This collaboration turns recycled waste into a tool for environmental activism by funding the urgent work of safeguarding our oceans.

Humanium

In 2018, TRIWA launched a landmark collaboration with the Humanium Metal Initiative to transform illegal firearms into symbols of peace. Through this partnership, confiscated weapons from conflict-torn regions were melted down and repurposed into high-quality watches made of Humanium Metal. The Humanium Metal initiative has successfully facilitated the destruction of over 12,000 firearms.

A portion of the proceeds from every watch sold was donated to IM Sweden's Development Partner to support victims of armed violence and rebuild societies affected by conflict. By turning a destructive force into a functional tool for change

SSAB

In 2022, TRIWA partnered with SSAB, Sweden’s largest steel producer and a global leader in high-strength steel, to create the world’s first consumer product made from fossil-free steel. This "Time for Decarbonization" initiative addresses the steel industry’s 7% contribution to global carbon emissions by utilizing revolutionary HYBRIT technology to replace coking coal with fossil-free hydrogen. Each watch case is crafted from fossil-free steel powder from SSAB Oxelösund, featuring an industrial design inspired by raw steel production.

By showcasing this material in a commercial timepiece, both brands aim to prove that fossil-free alternatives are viable today and inspire a shift toward a carbon-neutral future. This collaboration demonstrates how even the largest traditional industries can be transformed through bold action and purposeful sustainable innovation.
