TRIWA is launching a new watch in Collaboration with the Non-Violence Foundation

TRIWA and The Non-Violence Project Unveil the ‘Norrsken’ Watch: A Timepiece Engineered for Peace

STOCKHOLM: Swedish watch innovator TRIWA and The Non-Violence Project Foundation (NVP) are proud to announce their latest collaboration: the Norrsken. Named after the ethereal Northern Lights that pierce the arctic darkness, this timepiece is more than an accessory, it is a wearable commitment to a world where conflict is met with dialogue rather than force.

The Norrsken watch represents a profound partnership dedicated to turning personal investments into a collective legacy. A portion of every sale is donated directly to the Non-Violence Project to fund educational programs designed to disarm violence at its root.

Design: The Art of De-escalation

The Norrsken is a "manifesto on the wrist," blending rugged resilience with symbolic engineering:

  • The Revolver Crown: The watch’s defining feature is a crown inspired by Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd’s iconic "Knotted Gun" sculpture. It takes the mechanical language of a weapon and transmutes it into a precision instrument of time.

  • The Dial of Resistance: Featuring a inconsequently rugged, linear-brushed texture, the dial evokes a path forged through resistance. At its heart sits the Non-Violence logo, punctuated by signal red accents that serve as a visceral reminder of the urgency of the mission.

  • Architectural Strength: The 39mm case is crafted from 316L stainless steel, finished with a balance of brushed resilience and mirror-polished elegance.

Changing the Future Through Education

The funds generated from the Norrsken collection directly support the Non-Violence Project’s global mission to reach and educate 20 million people by 2030. To date, NVP has already trained over 10 million students, teachers, and coaches across 30 countries, providing them with essential tools for conflict resolution, harassment and mental health challenges.

Research shows that NVP’s preventive educational programs can reduce violence by 20-70% in participating communities. By funding initiatives like Schools for Peace and Sports for Peace, Norrsken owners help empower the next generation to choose dialogue over aggression.

"To wear the Norrsken is to carry a physical piece of a global movement,"

says Zacharias Dahl, CEO at TRIWA.

"It is a watch for the visionary who understands that true power resides in the ability to stay composed when the world demands otherwise."
