ADDING COLOUR BY: Hattie Stewart

We have always looked for artistic mindsets and innovative artists for our collaborations. This autumn we teamed up with the British artist Hattie Stewart.

Each season we challenge a new artist to interpret our latest collection, following our brand’s motto ADDING COLOUR.

This autumn we have chosen to collaborate with the British artist Hattie Stewart. With her sarcastic humor and bold colours, Hattie Stewart has made her way into the world of art and fashion, working with brands such as Adidas, Luella, Marc Jacobs, House of Holland and magazines like i-D, Vouge, and Dazed & Confused.

- I’m very happy that TRIWA asked me to design a watch for them, Hattie Stewart says. I like TRIWA as a brand, and was fascinated by the thought of merging art and time. The two art works I did, entitled 80’s Tribal, really brings out the watch, and I hope that the wearer will enjoy them as much as I did when I created them, says Hattie Stewart.

The collaboration between TRIWA and Hattie Stewart resulted in two artworks and two watches, both in Hattie's unmistakable scrawling style. This is TRIWAs fifth artist collaboration. Earlier collaborations include Alberto Seveso, Dominic Wilcox, Fredrik Öhman, Supakitch & Koralie amongst others.

Hattie Stewart will make an art installation during TRIWA's new popup store opening in Stockholm the 29th of August at Mäster Samuelsgatan 5.
